Farewell Luciano
Sitting here, plugging away in the wee hours at a big writing job for a client, and the news has just come in that Luciano Pavarotti has died.
Terribly sad.
I only got to see him once - me and around a million other drenched nutters standing in Hyde Park for a few hours in the teeming rain back in '91. God! that man could sing.
