Remembrance

I have a dream of which I speak,
To fight with the veterans is what I seek.
To bring peace to all the world,
To not have homeless boys and girls.
To live together in harmony,
And to be rid of poverty.
I dream of this because I know,
The veterans put on quite a show.
In World War II and World War I,
The brave men said to bad “be gone!”
Thus we wear a scarlet poppy,
To remember the heroes whom we should copy.
Now happiness reigns in our great country,
Because of the men whose lives were bumpy.
