Conference by Proxy
It's frustrating that pressures of work, deadlines, RFPs and stuff have conspired to prevent me from being able to attend today's "Participatory Journalism" conference.
Wish I could be there - there's a bunch of great speakers on the schedule, numerous bloggers I like on stage and in the audience, and a number of friends in the business involved in this thing. Given the subject matter, the attendee list, and what I do for a living - this is one gig I really should have made it to.
Rats.
The good news is that I can still rely on Joey to give me a great taste of the proceedings, even if I can't be there to enjoy it with him.
